The Light of Peace
Art Notes
Storms must end. God’s glorious light streams through the clouds in brilliant beams. That moment, when peace returns to the land, sea, and sky is a wonderful affirmation. It is the inspiration for The Light of Peace, third in my Seaside Memories collection. These heavenly lights literally take my breath away; I hope this dramatic print has that effect on you.

The Light of Peace. I love this print. It was about 15 years ago, I picked up 2 journals in a local store that I believe had this print and an inspirational verse on it. The verse was about not giving up. Hope for the future. I wish I could remember it. Just afterward, a friends young daughter was in a terrible crash that left her disfigured, I gave her 1 of the journals. At the time I didnt know her Dr had suggested she keep a journal of her emotions & everything she was going thru. Then shortly after, I had a friend going thru some tough times, I gave him the other journal & he was touched by the verse. I wanted to buy more copies, but the store was out of them. Thomas Kinkade has touched so many lives, I just wanted to say Thanks.
Ellen,
Thank you for sharing your beautiful stories. We are honored that Thom’s art played a part in helping your friends. Thank you for being a loyal collector and for sharing his light with others.
Numbers 6:24-2621st Century King James Version (KJ21)
24 The Lord bless thee and keep thee;
25 the Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;
26 the Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.’ This is the verse
Somehow an e-mail link took me to an article panning Thomas’ work. Was feeling a little down reading it, then I’m on your site and find the painting that we purchased. All I can say is that artwork(the Light of Peace) has hung on our dining room wall for nearly 22 years, steadfastly, silently blessing our home with the same irrepressible calm I first found when I spent an entire afternoon sitting in the Kinkade Gallery @ Moro Bay, Ca. It always brings me comfort. Wherever you may be, thank-you Thomas. Rick Rader

Can anyone tell me if this is a Real Location?… If so do you know where?
I Have a 7×5 Backdrop of this on my Wall
Hello Danielle,
I am not finding any location information on this image. I would say that this lighthouse is one that he made up. It could be pieces of places he visited in his travels and he put into this one image.
Kate
Thank you…
my grandmother has this print in her family room and ever since i was a little girl i would sit and stare at it for hours because i thought it was so beautiful and peaceful.
What is the hidden pics in the Lighthouse of Peace? I love his paintings. I have things of Thomas Kindade’s paintings.
Hello Barbara,
I don’t have any specific information on this piece, as to if there is anything hidden in it. He didn’t hide things in every image he did. Some of the cityscapes and cottages he did will have hidden N’s in them, in honor of his wife Nanette.
