Disney Dreams Collector Event at the World of Disney®

On May 20th and 21st, Disneyland hosted it first Thomas Kinkade Disney Dreams Collector Art Event. Thomas Kinkade Studios Legacy Artist, Dirk Wunderlich, was the guest of honor at World of Disney®, the official store for Disney merchandise located in the heart of Downton Disney in Anaheim, CA. The 2017 Thomas Kinkade Studios event exclusive release, 101 Dalmatians, was featured in the gallery and drew lots of attention as guest tried to count every one of the Dalmatians portrayed in the painting. It was very exciting for Dirk to meet with collectors during the event and share his stories about the inspiration for each Disney Dreams piece. During the event, Dirk signed all Disney Dreams art that was purchased at the event. He also created custom Disney character sketches, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse being the most requested. Each sketch was presented to the guests in a custom Disney Dreams Collector Art Folio.

Thomas Kinkade Studios Legacy Artist, Dirk Wunderlich, worked alongside American Artist, Thomas Kinkade for many years in Kinkade’s atelier. Wunderlich continues the Kinkade tradition and helps to create the new Thomas Kinkade Studios’ paintings.
