Winsor Kinkade is an artist living and working in San Francisco, California. Kinkade grew up in Northern California inspired by her natural surroundings and was mentored by her father, artist Thomas Kinkade. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies and Fine Art at the University of San Francisco in 2017.
Kinkade earned her master’s degree in Social Work at San José State University in 2019. She emphasized in Children, Youth, and Families, and earned additional credentials in Pupil Personnel Services and Spanish Counseling. This field of study greatly contributes to her viewing art as a therapeutic process that aids in healing trauma.
Kinkade’s art reflects the moments that she experiences in her daily life. She aims to portray the world in a non-curated way while honoring the intrinsic beauty within it. She works with varying mediums, including oil and acrylic paint, ink, and graphite.
As a founding member of The Kinkade Family Foundation, Winsor Kinkade works as the Program Manager for this non-profit organization.
The Kinkade Family Foundation is committed to sharing the art and story of Thomas Kinkade through curating collections of his work and furthering awareness of the artist’s impact. In addition, The Foundation is passionate about working with non-profits that contribute to our local and global community as advocates for social change.
